I had a special friend Gena Goodrich and member of Arts in the Mountains invite me to share a room and set up at a craft show. The show was at the Center for Rural Development. The show was Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The show had lots of people to attend, however I did not sell that much. I was disappointed. To sell my merchandise you have to get the right customer. Either they love it or they say they don't have any girls or children. I did have a great time. I attend two workshops. My favorite was setting up a website. I thought it would cost several hundred dollars. It is around $20.00 a month. I want to get to work on this.
Something else on my to due list.

Cheerleading

couple of weeks ago I signed Syd up for United Cheer Starz. I hope that she will learn with this squad and have fun.

Setting up Work Area

I always need to work and Syd needs to play. What's a mother to do? I just drag everything to the garage and work while she plays. I will post photos tomorrow of flowers I have been making. They are so precious.

Swimming Pool

I love these pools they are my favorite. I guess because mom always bought them every summer. This one is actually Sheilas. Mom went to meet her and brought it back. The kids had a good time. I did have to change Syd's clothes today at least 4 times.

Folding Towels

When I thought photo moment she did not have a shirt on so she held the towel up high.
Wash Clothes

Towels
This morning I had been washing. I was in the shower and here comes Syd. Mom I am going to fold the towels. I said okay. After I got out of the shower she had folded most of them. She was amazing how good she folded them with out any instructions. Oh well, maybe she will be a cleaner and cook.

Zack Having Fun

Zack is so creative. He loves to make wrestling movies. He takes digital photos of action figures and then uploads them to you tube. He also adds music. I think this is so creative. I want him to help me make a video for my business.

My Favorite Part of the Kitchen

This is my good stuff of the kitchen. It is on the bottom cabinet. All the kids and family members that come to visit know where it is at. When Syd wants something to eat. She gets a plate, fork and a napkin. In the pitcher holds straws. Notice the Pepsi cups a great deal. 150 for $2.50 I believe. I buy them from the Pepsi man at school. Before summer I make sure to get enough for the whole summer. Just thought I would share this. I had just organized it.

Special Cooks

Look how cute!!!!!
The weekend before school went out I thought I want to do something for the cooks. I can't cook so what do I do. I thought hot pink t-shirts with zebra RWC and flower clips to match. Mom worked hard to complete my project. During the honor awards at school Mr. Brown called all of the out and he gave them to them. It was awesome. I love these girls. I also miss their food during the summer.

8th Grade Graduation

Lisa a special friend, her daughter Rosalyn and mother Brenda Dunsil.

This is a special friend, neighbor who helped me with all my school projects when I was in grade school. Each time mom or I have a crafty problem or need a cake made, Brenda Dunsil is always to the rescue. When we drive by her house Syd always says Brenda Dunsil.
She is a professional seamstress. Love this photo.

My Zack Third Grade Award

Zack finished the 3rd grade, however he will be staying back again in the 3rd grade. This photo he turned his award upside down to be funny. He got 3.5-3.9 GPA. He had a wonderful year. His teacher was Mrs. Ruth Adkins, Mrs. Vonda Adams, Mrs. Jan Maggard, and Mrs. Becky Perkins. All of them taught him so much. Staying back in third grade was a great decision these teachers are the greatest.

In the Beginning of the Tree House

Tanner's Basketball Party

Love this photo. The dress Syd is wearing for specially made for the party. It was so cute. It looked like she was going to the prom. Of course she was the best dress girl at the party.
Tanner finished out his freshman year of basketball. He had a great year. We played several games and now on to JV and hopefully varsity. Look at all these boys. Can you find Tanner? You can't miss him the smallest one on the team. How cute!

Syd Having Fun at School!

Syd and Hannah Estep stayed at school after pre school graduation. These girls came down to my classroom and asked if they could help me work to get my classroom ready for summer. I said no but why don't you get the cart and push Syd and Hannah. One of the girls said this is the best school day ever. To funny. They had a great time.

4th of July Design

This is a 4th of July sun dress. You could also wear it in the colder months by adding a t-shirt and leggings. This dress is $35.00 comes with panty covers, hair bow, bottle cap necklace with name, and bows for shoes. This is a popular style. When Syd wore it to school I sold five. She is also a good sales lady. She worked it. So funny. She told everyone they would get this, and this, and this and then she pulled up her dress and showed the panty covers and then said $35.00. How precious.

Front Porch Fun!!!!

Mamaw/Granny came by for a visit

Notice me new cushions. I bought all the stripe fabric from Walmart.

Syd was pretending to read. The book was about preschool.

Close up of fabric

A setting area for two on the front porch

Syd eating cereal. We use paper cups for ice cream, fruit and cereal.

Wacky Hair Day

At gymnastics this summer Vernetta the gymnastics coach has planned a theme for each week. This week was wacky hair day. I didn't know what to do except put pony tails all over her head. After this I went and put her new shirt on and then looked up at her headbands and found this Christmas headbands that had bells attached. She has fun doing this. When we got to gymnastics she went to each coach and showed them her hair. At the end of class they all formed a circle and each girl took turns going in the middle to dance. They copied what the girl in the middle did. This is Syd's favorite part. It is a joy to watch because they are all so young. The oldest is in 1st grade. The youngest is 2 years old.

Playing Games on Front Porch

This is a easy activity just bring games out that you already have
A couple of days ago I thought let's play games on the front porch. Syd and I cleaned the table and put our games out on the table. We took turns choosing the games. She loved this. Her favorite was not the games but hand puppets. I had kept these since Tanner was a baby. I had 5 Little Monkeys and 5 Little Ducks.

Tree House

Syd and Balen having fun
The big boys decided to smile
They love the slide it is straight up and you go fast
My nephew Devin love this photo
The older boys not wanting to smile

Jon is building a tree house for Zack and Syd. He is almost finished. It was not a easy task. The middle section the big ladder was extremely hard because of the dowel rods that have to go through two sections of wood and then connect to other sections (see photo). When it is finished my plans are for
1. punching bag
2. cow bell
3. basketball goal
4. flag pole
5. tire swing
6. sand box
7. steering wheel
8. pail to pull up to top of tree house
9. mailbox
Can't wait. I told Zack it would be a boys club house and
when he got older we would turn it into a girls play house.
When Tanner was little we read a book series called "The Magic Tree house" it is a great series for beginner readers 1st and up. The series is about a librarian who left books in a tree house. A brother and sister went to the house and read books. When they opened the books they traveled to the place in the book.
Tanner said mom let's not take books up there we will be in trouble. I started laughing but was proud that he had a memory of the stories we read.

I will share photos of the finished house soon.
Teresa

Tanner is 16

Tanner is 16. Syd is the only one who wants to drive with him. She doesn't realize it is a scary thing. Tanner seems to be listening to me when he is driving with me. It takes practice to learn, however it is hard for me to be the teacher.

Pillowcase Dress

Pillowcase dresses are the cutest. We have all sizes from babies to adults. They can be worn with or with out a shirt. They are cute as dresses and in the fall/winter wear with jeans. They are $20.00 with panty cover and matching hair bow or headband.
