Front Porch

This is some photos of my front porch. Every year before Easter I decide on how I will fix my front porch up. This is one of my decorating favorites. It is like another room on my house. I love going outside early in the morning and after 7:00 in the evening. I read magazines, talk on the phone, listen to music, read a book, and I even take my laptop out there. It is so peaceful enjoy summer time.

Tom came by the house and put this butterfly in this jar. It was just like one you would see on display at a museum. After I shared it with the kids. We let it go. It was the prettiest one I had seen before.

This flower pot has always matched the front door red. This year I spray painted them black it was a better constrasting color. I spray painted so much stuff I felt like my oldest brother Clinton he loves to paint.

Instead of buying ferns this year to sit on my post I decided to buy these. I was to cheap so each time I went to Walmart I would purchase one of these until I got four. I wish I would of just bought the ones with out the banister hangers and just sat them on top of them. It would of also been cheaper. Oh well, I do love the way they turned out.

This was upstairs in our family room during the winter. I decided to bring it down to the front porch for summer projects. I bought this at Big Lots for Christmas. It is tall Syd has to get in a chair to use it. The baskets are neat. I put puzzles, magnetic dolls, construction paper, and coloring books in the baskets.

I call this area the living room. On the back wall these chairs were silver and I spray painted them black and the fabric is from Walmart mom covered the chairs for me.
